About Us

Our Story

Everything we experience in life is a windy and dramatic story told and understood through our individual lenses. We'd like to share our story through our lens.

For decades of our lives we didn't consider ourselves spiritual people. We were agnostic. We didn't believe in anything other than the life we were experiencing. Just like every one else we knew, life was a continual stream of dramas, slights, irritations, pleasures and pains. We lived and acted strictly through our identity. And in doing so, we suffered alongside our family, friends and children.

That all changed when we both had our individual spiritual awakenings. Garrett couldn't tell you the first thing about an awakening until he experienced one himself. It wasn't something he was seeking nor knew anything about. In his ignorance, he wouldn't know what to seek to begin with.

A few days after Garrett had his experience, Erin had her own awakening. For the first time she could clearly see the different parts of her mind working to protect her from all kinds of past suffering. She couldn't help but cry, and cry and cry some more. She discovered a deep new gratitude for the beauty of nature, the love of the universe, and the oneness we all share.

We don't know why we've seen what we've seen. However, we both feel called to relay the knowledge we've been blessed with which led to the creation and the production of our Grounded in Love podcast.
